I told people round about 2014 that I was not going to make any more ribbed dishes even though they had been one of my most popular ranges.  Recently, when writing the book 'Ribbed Forms', it required me to make one or two more.  These pieces were not too far back in my making career and as such did not need a big re-learning curve to be able achieve a good out-come - which it not always so easy with work from the more distant past.  These new ribbed dished are slightly bigger and perhaps slightly better than the earlier ones.
